fairest price. Throughout the course of our 40+ years in the construction business, the company has built many
homes, additions, we’ve remodeled many different rooms in residential homes, completed large projects of window
and door installations as well as siding, roofing, decks, kitchens, bathrooms, ceramic tile, painting, vinyl and
hardwood/laminate flooring and carpeting. The company is a member in good standing with Building Trades
Association. We are an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau and have an A+ rating with them. We
hold a General Contractors License as well as a Maryland Home Improvement License.
A.K. Sterner Construction Co., LLC is involved
in both residential projects and apartment rehabs. The residential work we do ranges from the smallest of jobs
to adding additions. We have recently completed a fire restoration, floor joist repair, window and door
replacement, kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, basement remodel, roof repairs and various other small jobs. At
this point in time our company’s main focus is apartment rehabs. This means that the company contractually takes
over an apartment complex to rehab all apartments on a move-out or occupied basis. The rehab includes a turnkey
program which generally includes: new kitchen with cabinets, counter tops, sink, faucet, flooring, lighting, and
appliances, new bathroom(s) with vanities, tubs, ceramic tile walls, lighting, faucets, toilet, flooring and
towel bars, new carpeting, new lighting, new doors with hardware, new closet shelving and a fresh coat of paint.
All rehabs are customized to the individual wants of the apartment complex.
We are currently in the process of rehabbing 6
apartment complexes with the capability of adding 5 more. We have the capability to rehab at least 80 apartments
